About Vocaloader
What We're About
Hey! Vocaloader started as a passion project because of my partner, who introduced me to vocal synth. I never know where to look when I want to cover a song, so I wanted to create a cozy corner of the internet where we could store these sequences and make them easy to find.
Our hope is that Vocaloader becomes your go-to place for finding and sharing vocal synthesis files - whether you're a creator looking to share your work or just someone who enjoys downloading and using these files in your own projects.
How It Started
I've been interested in VOCALOID and UTAU for years, but what really kicked it off is my partner's project, Tasteloid. but I know that finding USTs, VSQ and other files can be a pain sometimes. I have a web development background, and I figured this would be a great little project to give back to the community.
The project started in 2024, just me tinkering with code on weekends. It wasn't great at first, and went through many, many reboots, but people liked the idea and it's been a fun project to work on..
Now we've got a small but growing community of people who help moderate content, suggest features, and share their amazing sequences. I'm constantly surprised by how lovely everyone has been!

That's me! I code the site, fix the bugs, and lose sleep every time there's a weird error on a page. It's my first time working on such a large scale project, so please be patient with my mistakes!

Our Three Big Goals
Make Everything Findable
Have you ever tried to find a specific UST only to realize it could be named a dozen different things and hosted on random sites? Been there - it sucks. I'm trying to bring everything together in one spot with better search tools, so you can actually find what you're looking for without hours of Googling.
Bring People Together
Working on VOCALOID and UTAU can be a lonely hobby sometimes! I want Vocaloader to be a place where you can discover other creators with similar tastes, share your work, leave feedback, and make new friends in the process. The community aspect is just as important as the files themselves.
Save Our Digital Heritage
Every time a UTAU site shuts down or a creator deletes their account, we lose pieces of our shared history. Vocaloader is my attempt at digital preservation - creating a stable home for these creative works so future producers can still access and learn from them.
